Philosophy:
It is important that children feel they are a welcome part of, not only their own families, but also of their "extended families" such as, friends, school, childcare... Today, a child’s family come in many forms, all of which are an equal importance to the child.

We believe that “Home Childcare” is a very important extension of you and your child. As your child becomes involved in the daily routines, they will see the connections between home and home childcare in a friendly and supporting manner. A flexible daily program will respond to the needs and interests of the children, individually and in-group setting. Small group sizes, allow appropriate attention for each infant, in addition when a primary caregiver is responsible for establishing relationships with just a few infants, she is better able to respond effectively to the individual temperament, needs and cues of each baby.
By encouraging children to learn and develop at their own level, they will gain the confidence of self-importance. Give them guidance and understanding and they will have the opportunity to explore their world in a safe and controlled environment.
Hami’s Playhouse focuses on the relationship between the Caregiver, the infant and the parent. We understand how difficult it is to leave your infant in someone else's care. We feel our role with the new parent is to establish a sense of trust and to provide your infant with a consistent and responsive care.
In a caring and positive atmosphere, Hami' Playhouse Infant and Toddler Center creates a warm and happy place for infants and toddlers to thrive and learn. Physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development is more interrelated for this age group and more dependent on a consistent relationship with an adult caregiver. Sensory, motor, perceptual, and language skills are introduced through materials and activities, which are both child-centered and teacher-directed. We encourage the advancement of physical and intellectual competence of each child in age appropriate activities, also exploration and problem solving.
Our goal is to teach the love of learning by allowing children to experience their own stage of development and helping them feel success without any needed pressure.
